At the beginning when he add the fan together the 5 top cards are the cards which he put on the top of the fan. (0:33-0:51)
This 5 cards he palm up at 0:51 with his right hand and move them with his left thumb to the right side (0:52-0:53)
Now he shuffle the cards and bring just this 5 cards at the bottom of the deck (0:54-0:55)
At the next shuffle from 0:56-5:50 you can see that he bring his pinky over this 5 cards and put them back the top.

Now the 5 cards from the top of the fan are allready back on top of the deck (1:00).
The move from 1:02-1:06 is very easy.The 2 cards are the top and the bottom card.
The first two cards on the table.
For the third card it's only a shuffleroutine.But i can't see how.
At 1:18 you can see that do something with his left hand at the bottom of the deck.The flying 3rd card is for to draw off the attention.
I dont understand the completely trick but it's only math ;)

I hope you'll understand my english: this is an exhibition of amazing skill and artistry. Do not try to minimize it by attempting to explain it. Remember that knowing how something is done (which I doubt in this case), and being able to do it, are two different things.

um. no. didn't anyone else notice the camera switch at about 0:31? he's spreading the cards with his RIGHT hand, but after the camera switches, he's finished spreading with his LEFT hand. The two shots were taken at different times. So all that shuffling in the beginning was just to deceive you. He did the trick with a prepared deck, starting at 0:32.

It's called an edit. He ws not continuing to spread, he was lifting the pre-seperated A-5 spades. There is a minute delay perhaps. But make no mistake he is doing all this 'honestly'.

Does anyone know what false shuffle he is using? It's not the Zarrow shuffle, because you can see the cards penetrating each other. This is one hell of a trick.
